Perth Finnish School Inc.
Also known as “Perthin Suomi-koulu ry”, Perth Finnish School Inc. is a small-scale charity established in 2014. Their main activity is registered as other education primarily serving people from a culturally and linguistically diverse background.
The charity's purpose is to teach Finnish language and culture. During 2018-19, Perth Finnish School ran classes every fortnight for four groups: age 0-4, age 5-8, age 9-15, and adults. Each group has up to 12 participants, but classes are "drop in", meaning that more than 40 people benefited from the classes during the year. Perth Finnish School also co-organised traditional celebrations such as Christmas and Midsummer Eve, attracting up to 100 participants each from the Finnish community.
