Films4Change Inc is a small-scale charity established in 2015. Their main activity is registered as culture and arts primarily serving general community in australia.
During 2018 we have been actively involved in the community & connecting with community groups to create films that raise awareness of social & community issues. Our series of films on Domestic Violence titled 'Its Just A Choice' which were produced to assist in Men's Behaviour Change Programs continues to be used by organisations around Australia, USA & the UK in their Domestic Violence Prevention Programs. During 2018 we have reached many more active end users that regularly refer to the series in their programs. The films are easily accessible online to the general public & any organisation that wish to use them for educational purposes. We are continuing our work with Primary Care & the Family Well being Program & are currently in the completion stage of our first documentary that highlights the valuable support that the program offers to Indigenous male youth on the Central Coast NSW. http://www.ccpc.com.au/allied-health-pro fessionals/family-wellbeing/ During 2018 we connected with the Iris Foundation on the Central Coast NSW & created two short promotional films for them raising awareness of the Tree of Dreams project which is an annual campaign to raise awareness of suicide prevention on the Central Coast. https://treeofdreams.org.au/ We also connected with Behind The Seen who's vision is to heighten awareness of the effects of incident related and career specific stress on Australian emergency service personnel and their families, where we created a promotional film for their First Response:Stress Less World Mental Health Day event. http://www.behindtheseenaustralia.com/ab out-us.html We created a short series of films on anti bullying titled 'In My Shoes' in conjunction with Regional Youth Services Inc Central Coast NSW & we captured the performances of their drama & music students on stage to create videos for them. During 2019 we will be partnering with RYSS to work with young aspiring film makers to create meaningful & engaging content whilst also teaching them valuable film making skills along the way. https://www.ryss.com.au/ We continue to work on projects that we have planned for 2019 & we will continue to connect with other NFP's & charities to create more films that raise awareness of social & community issues & create change which enables us to achieve our outcomes as a valuable charity.
