Wooragee Landcare Group Inc is a small-scale charity established in 1989. Their main activity is registered as environmental education primarily serving children - aged 6 to under 15 families aboriginal and torres strait islander people people in rural/regional/remote communities.

We propagated and distributed Banksia marginata tubestock, a declining species in the region. We are conducting a cultural burn program in partnership with a local indigenous group. We are undertaking restoration works on riparian licence sites along a local waterway. We publish a monthly newsletter on local and environmental issues.
