Abilities Empowered Association Incorporated

Abilities Empowered Association Incorporated is a small-scale charity established in 2011. Their main activity is registered as other education primarily serving people with disabilities.

1. We provided Applied Behavioural Analysis Therapy and other Educational Study Programs to children of school going age. 2. We provided support to children with ADHD, Autism and Learning, Speech and Language Disabilities. 3. It gives us great pleasure to reflect on the achievements of our Special Needs students whom we have helped and supported through the years and specially the HSC academic year. We feel a sense of pride in watching them thrive and grow as confident individuals with many of them achieving well in their NAPLAN and HSC exams. 4. We celebrated International Day of Disabled Persons . This event was to create and enhance social and community awareness. The event was graced by the Hills Shire Mayor Dr Michelle Bryne and Councillors of Hills and Blacktown Council and was attended by the local community of the Hills region in large numbers . Beyond Blue and several other Charity organisations partnered with us. 5. We provided support to disadvantaged children by giving them educational support and for exams. 6. We conducted Free English language, business communication, resume writing and writing skills classes for Refugee Migrants. 7. We provided educational support, therapy and counselling services to children with disabilities and also provided academic help and support to the disadvantaged children who are at risk of dropping out of school in Blacktown and Western Sydney area. 9. We have donated Free HSC Books to disadvantaged students in need . 10. We operated mental health and counselling service, conducted social awareness "StayWell" programs and mental health awareness events and workshops.
