Association For The Welfare Of Children In Hospital Wa Inc is a small-scale charity established in 1976. Their main activity is registered as early childhood education primarily serving early childhood - aged under 6 aboriginal and torres strait islander people migrants, refugees or asylum seekers people from a culturally and linguistically diverse background people with disabilities.

AWCH WA conduct the only hospital familiarisation program in WA with no funding. Our 2 hour program is presented by qualified nurses and/or early childhood teachers to children aged between 3-8 years old. In 2020 we conducted over 290 sessions to children empowering them with knowledge of medical and hospital equipment, procedures and Covid 19.
