Cowra & Grenfell Meals On Wheels Food Services Inc is a medium-scale charity established in 1990. Meals on Wheels deliver to all people who required support in maintaining their nutrition and to live at home independently. We deliver hot/cold meals 7 days a week, supply frozen meals as required, host community lunch weekly events, cooking groups, monitoring of clients wellbeing and provide a daily social contact visit to alleviate loneliness. We spovide emergency meals and shopping and have delivered over 50,000 plus meals annually. we cover 6000sq klm. We support the disadvantaged, social isolated seniors, people with disabilities, carers and all other members of the community. The service promotes and provides a number of volunteering roles and opportunities for all community members. We manage 270 volunteers who assist with delivery and activities. We nourish, provide Choice and deliver consumer directed services.
