Neighbourhood House Coordination Program - This program ensures that the organisation operates overall under the Community Development model, due to the disadvantaged and vulnerable community. The service advocates for all individuals and the community as a whole, especially those most disadvantaged or disengaged. Socialisation opportunities are provided through a number of avenues such as specific support groups and activities such as Community Cafes and Social Enterprises. Laverton Youth Foundation - Working with dis-engaged and disadvantaged Youth, the program concentrates on Youth Leadership and programs delivered are by the Youth for the Youth. Granting opportunities made to projects led by Youth for the Youth. The L2P Driver Mentor program assists young people that do not have access to a car or supervising driver to obtain the 120 hours of driving required before sitting for their Driver's Licence. Crisis Intervention Service covers the whole municipality operating in the most dis-advantaged neighbourhoods. The service assists those presenting in crisis, usually with multiple issues. A robust referral system is in place with an extensive collaborative network of specialist providers. Laverton Community Education Centre delivers nationally recognised registered training and education programs, Foundation skills and English as an Additional Language. The Laverton Community Children's Centre provides Kindergarten, Long Day Care, Alternative care and Playgroups addressing the needs of numerous Department of Health, Human Services families / clients.
