The Australian Heart/Lung Transplants Association
Also known as “AHLTA”, The Australian Heart/Lung Transplants Association is a small-scale charity established in 1993. Their main activity is registered as civic and advocacy activities primarily serving people with chronic illness (including terminal illness).
We support pre and post Heart, Lung and Heart/Lung patients and their families and carers. We use social media. social activities and fundraising to achieve our aims. Proceeds from fundraising are used to support a home near St Vincent's Hospital for country patients (AHLTA House), to financially assist patients with grants and provide equipment to St Vincent's Hospital.
