Migrant Information Centre (Eastern Melbourne) Limited is a large-scale charity established in 1999. Their main activity is registered as immigrant services primarily serving early childhood - aged under 6 children - aged 6 to under 15 youth - 15 to under 25 adults - aged 25 to under 65 adults - aged 65 and over migrants, refugees or asylum seekers people from a culturally and linguistically diverse background.

MIC provides support services to people from diverse backgrounds residing in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Our services include casework support for newly arrived individuals and families from refugee and family stream migrant backgrounds, support for people seeking asylum, counselling for women who have experienced or are at risk of experiencing family violence, assistance for people with a disability and for older people to help them access support services where they face barriers to accessing services on their own. We also provide a range of group programs including support and social groups for adults, young people and children and work with migrant and refugee community leaders to help them to build skills to work with their communities. MIC also works with community service agencies to support them in their work with culturally and linguistically diverse individuals, families and communities, including offering training for their staff.
