The UTS Law Students’ Society (UTS LSS) is the peak representative body for UTS law students and the largest student-run organisation at UTS. UTS LSS aims to elevate the quality and standard of university life for UTS law students to its utmost potential by meeting their educational, vocational and social needs. UTS LSS supports an open door policy and welcomes any ideas, concerns or thoughts regarding your life studying law at UTS. You are welcome to visit the UTS LSS Office located in CB02.14.104 at any time to get to know us a little better. Members received discounted tickets to all social events, the eligibility to compete in internal and intervarsity competitions, eligibility for involvement in our educational initiatives, including Buddy Project, Peer Mentoring and External Mentoring Programs; eligibility to participate in our social justice initiatives, including the Colour Run, Westmead Hospital visits and joining the Justice Action Committee; access to our various career-based initiatives, including Careers Networking Evening, Clerkship Networking Evening and Clerkship seminars; access to a range of publications, including The Full Bench, Law School Manual, Careers Guide and Clerkship Guide; Receive our weekly e-newsletter (The Buzz); and eligibility to apply for our textbook equity scheme and textbook rental scheme. There are also subcommittees that comprised of members that assist the UTS LSS in various aspects including education, careers and social justice and wellbeing. These include the Justice Action Committee and the Student Wellbeing Advisory Group.
